- Massage the child's chest for 1 to 2 minutes with warm olive oil or ghee added by a pinch of salt for extra potency followed by a steam inhalation.
- Turmeric mixed with warm milk is another effective herbal natural remedy with the turmeric dosage varying depending on the child's age from a pinch to 1 full teaspoon in one cup of warm milk.
- Half a teaspoon of fresh ginger juice mixed with one teaspoon of honey
- Half a teaspoon of Chawayanprash taken regularly
Healing Herbal Recipe
Consume twice daily this Ayurveda medicine completely formulated from herbal products;
Take
- 1 gram of dry ginger powder
- 1 gram of black pepper powder
- 1 gram of cardamom powder
- 1 gram of clove powder
- 1 gram of cinnamon powder
- 1 gram of turmeric powder
- 6 grams powdered sugar and mix to honey or warm water in order to consume.
The general Do's and Don't
- Avoid cold and frozen foods, yoghurt, banana and sour fruits
- Take fresh and homemade preparations including hot drinks
- Feet, head and head should be kept adequately covered.
