Change in Our Skin

Ayurveda always emphasizes the general knowledge of our body in order to achieve the state of wellness that Ayurveda India's descendant, so truly delivers.

In this article we are going to treat the aspect of the biological changes that continuously occur in our skin that obviously results in changes in the overall appearance of the individual (Ayurveda skin care processes and treatments always emphasize this point).

From Childhood to Youth

The first major change in the skin during childhood, according to Ayurveda health studies, occurs during puberty when the hormones present in the body reflect heavily on the skin's appearance and texture.

Ayurveda body type studies have permitted a deep knowledge of this procedure. Sexual hormones such as the ‘Estrogen’ become present in the body at around this age leading to a soft and smooth structure of the skin but thicker and more vascular.

Unfortunately ‘Sebum’ also derives from the body's oil glands once the sexual hormones are present and therefore making us go trough those dreadful acne years where Ayurveda herb treatments are really useful.

From Youth to Old age

Ageing, together with the natural environmental aspects of our everyday life, damage the skin on a daily basis, taking away the glow and texture of the skin. Ageing makes the ‘Epidermis’ and ‘Dermis’ thinner resulting in thinner skin the older we get.

The bad news is that by the skin getting thinner it also means loosing any color while all veins become more prominent.

Ayurveda care herbal essences help this natural process to prolong its process in many effective ways.

Like we already mentioned in the previous paragraph, there are many more environmental hazards in our surroundings that effect the skin's texture and color, with the most harmful being the sun particularly with its ultraviolet rays.

Its major harm is the bursting capillaries it causes leaving the dermis, responsible for the skins wrinkling condition, unable to recognize the skin's condition.

History of herbal medicine has always kept these points as principals for all the Indian herbal medicine remedies.
